From October 17 to October 18, 2025, the 29th Annual Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Neurosurgical Society (INS) and the 21st Asean Congress of Neurological Surgery (ASEAN CNS) (PERSPEBSI Congress 2025) was grandly held in Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi in Indonesia. It is a grand gathering of top experts and scholars, frontier research achievements, and abundant academic exchanges, aiming to bring a feast of knowledge and wisdom to global neurosurgery practitioners. SceneRay, as a DBS solution provider from China, presented its innovative achievements and technical strength with DBS 2.0 products.

The 29th Annual Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Neurosurgical Society (INS) and the 21st Asean Congress of Neurological Surgery (ASEAN CNS) (PERSPEBSI Congress 2025)
I. Conference Theme
The PERSPEBSI Congress 2025 is themed "Harmonization in Neurosurgery". With the rapid development of technology, cross-integration of multiple disciplines, and global communication and exchanges in the field of neurosurgery, we increasingly need to pay more attention to the integration of knowledge and the deepening of collaboration. The PERSPEBSI Congress 2025 aims to promote international cooperation and exchanges in the field of neurosurgery, advance the innovation and development of neurosurgery technology, and provide global neurosurgical patients with better and more efficient medical services.
II. SceneRay's Exhibition Booth
At the joint invitation of PT RHEIN HEALTHCARE INDONESIA and PT Global Alkes Nusantara, SceneRay made a brilliant appearance at the PERSPEBSI Congress 2025, showcasing its DBS 2.0 products, i.e., a complete set of products for multi-circuit neuromodulation. Based on statistics, the population of Indonesia in 2025 was about 286.6 million, while the number of neurosurgeons was only about 600. Such a ratio reveals the serious shortage of neurosurgeons in Indonesia. To change the status quo of medical talent shortage, even more international exchanges and resource sharing are required. In addition to enterprises from the host country, i.e., Indonesia, those from other member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) also attended the PERSPEBSI Congress 2025, such as Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and other neighboring countries. Some customers who visited SceneRay's exhibition booth said that they were pleasantly surprised to see Chinese enterprises. They hoped that enterprises from Southeast Asia would continue to communicate, exchange, and cooperate with those from China in the field of neurosurgery.

III. Academic Exchanges
Surprisingly, SceneRay was even more honored to have invited Dr. Joni Wahyuhadi, Chairman of the PERSPEBSI Congress 2025 from RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Hospital, and Dr. Achmad Fahmi, Chief Neurosurgeon of DBS in Indonesia from National Hospital Surabaya, for exchanges at SceneRay's exhibition booth. Dr. Fahmi had known the brand of SceneRay for a long time and was very glad to see SceneRay's 8-Contact Rechargeable Deep Brain Stimulation System and SR1384 System at the congress. He deeply exchanged with representatives from SceneRay on the cranial foramen fixation method, target location, and indication selection of the SR1384 System. Dr. Fahmi said that DBS technology will have great development potential in Indonesia due to the lack of sufficient market information, adequate stereotactic equipment resources, and experienced neurosurgeons in the stereotactic field. He called for more cooperation and exchanges with DBS companies like SceneRay to boost the further development of DBS technology in Indonesia.

The future development of neurosurgery requires the concerted efforts and pioneering endeavors of global peers. The PERSPEBSI Congress 2025 was successfully held in Makassar, at which SceneRay gathered together with neurosurgery experts from all over the world and had fruitful exchanges with them around the frontier of the discipline and clinical practice, condensing new consensus and strength for the advances in the field of neurosurgery. In the future, SceneRay will continue to deepen its cooperation with international counterparts. Adhering to the driving force of scientific and technological innovation, SceneRay will strive to convey more hope and light by providing global patients with better diagnosis and treatment regimens.
